I need some suggestions for a project I want to do for our vet. My Heidi, who was treated for pancreatitis, was dx with pancreatic cancer, and related cancers in the lymph nodes around the stomach, and we had to say good bye to her this past Friday. I want to do something for our vet. We have another male wft, Popeye, and will still see the same vet...they hang photos etc. of their pets on the walls there, and have around 10-12 vets total. I have never got to send any photos yet. Any ideas or suggestions? I have a janome 300E emb machine too. Thanks for any ideas! :)

Not quite sure what you are wanting?? ... how about a set of Mug Rugs for the clinic? You could do each of them with an animal, and make sure each is different, so they can ID them easy enough!

Someone posted a Stairway To Heaven quilt a while back. It was done with cats and then someone else showed one with dogs. That would be nice if you want to do something like a lap size version. If you want something small, the mug rugs done in dog fabric would be cute. Maybe a nice bib apron with an embroidered saying or the vet's name would work?

I can't help you with your project, but my deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your dear Heidi. It's very hard losing our fur babies.
