Default what is this pattern??

I am trying to duplicate this quilt pattern, I know I have seen it somewhere but can't find it anywhere! I've searched through strip tube patterns, strip patterns, blocks and log cabins but can't find it.....some similar but not this one. Anyone know what it is called and where I can find it?

It is very much like a Trip Around the World pattern done with half square triangles. Sorry that I don't have a more technical term - it is very attractive.

I don't know either, but it's a beautiful pattern. Looks like its all HST, and upon closer look, most of those have 3 - 4 colors each. Good luck finding the pattern.

Does look like a trip around the world -

That is the major clue of how to put this quilt together!

Half of the squares are made of one fabric cut into a HST - and the other part of the squares look like they were strip pieced and then cut into QSTs - and pieced together into a HST - and then the one piece and strip pieced HSTs were sewn into a square unit.

Lovely quilt pictured.

well it's definitely a tube quilt. one row of strips with one strip of fabric cut the same size and laid on top. different colors in lights and darks. lovely quilt. hope you figure out how to do one yourself. good luck.

I am pretty sure that it is "Illusions." I am not sure where to find it but I think it was a feature in American Patchwork magzaine. I have it marked in my stash to make it, but haven't had the time. Will try to find it today and send the info to you.

Very cool pattern. Anxiously following along for the final decision on the name.

I think I found it. Go to the "all people quilt" site and type in "illusion in neutrals." Whoever made the quilt you pictured uses darker, more vibrant colors and I really like it.
