I have a dear friend who is always sending me something. She just sent me four really nice books. I am making a small friendship quilt for her. She is a framer by trade and I am going to let her frame it. When I have it finished I will post a picture.

I just bought a quilting frame and I can't wait to use it. Have to find out what these "leader cloths" are suppose to be. I'm sooo excited to start,so I'll be taking some clases for sure.

Pattil,
The leader cloths are what you attach the backing and top to then attach the leader cloth to the rails, so you can quilt to the edge.:)

Just trimmed 24 string blocks and made tentavie arrangement of the blocks, going to be donatated to HeartStrings Project.

Next project is to work on quilt for my Guild's show in May. I have all the blocks made and trimmed but somehow I can't motivate myself to get it all together. Maybe tomorrow, May in Jersey

dljennings--these are fantastic; thanks for sharing. My dear Auntie is in the hospital and may have a long recovery period--these would be perfect for me to make and send to her!

dljennings-
Can you share the name of the quilt shop where you bought the patterns? Maybe they do business over the internet. I know I'd be interested in purchasing them.
Thanks,
