When I was in high school I took French. I didn't do well at all in that class and my teacher (bless his heart) told me NEVER take another foreign language. Needless to say I changed my college major because I couldn't not grasp shorthand of all things!
Then quilting came along. My daughter knew of my language issue and is very impressed that I have learned the quilting lingo!
We are a different breed!
Now my DH is learning it too.

ahhhh what a funny chuckle I got.... just love your cute story....:) glad to hear your building fences and tearing down log cabins, and no longer worried about fat squares ahahahaha ha oh my ROLF
