Hi everyone, You can order the rotary blades from Harbor Frieght online! Hubby discovered this and ordered several for me! I am SO Excited! He loves that store and saw the tool on sale, AND the blade, and discovered from the clerk that quilters buy the blades! This is a great find, since Walmart's prices have increased! We seem to be paying for the store renovations! Take care Everyone! I LOVE this board and enjoy reading everyone's posts so much! I learn and am inspired! You all are such a blessing to me! Love the pics and all the info! Ya'll all are all a great group of people!

I went on line and ordered a dozen packages of them but now I have found that they realy aren't sharp enough. They may work better if you can sharpen them. They are sold for cutting rugs.

The ones I just bought and am using are just as sharp as what I would buy at JoAnn's at about 1/10th the price. I am tickled! ;)

I have also purchased from Harbor Freight but found they weren't as sharp so that is why I am looking for a sharpener. I also will do my old quilt store ones.

If you find that Harbor Freight is out of the carpet cutter blades, ask them 1) what day does the truck come in ....
then go there the very next morning.
    2) ask if they order and received blades weekly or just how often. 3) what is the shipping fee for ordered blades?

I have some blades I am willing to sell if someone cannot find them. I buy them when I see them and have quite a few on hand. Send me a PM.
