Absolutely love "The Stitch and Bitch Store"! Talking about names reminds me of a famous bar in a Washington DC suburb named The Library. When someone called an office, the person had always gone to the Library. It was very popular with the lawyers in the area.

No, that's not a typo. My best friend is to baking as I am to quilting, so I told her we have to open a combination quilt/bake shoppe.

It's just a joke between us though, neither of us would like to own a retail operation. We've both been there before (me a book store, she a restaurant) and we won't go back to that closed chapter in our lives.
I lived in a small town in KS & there was a combo gun/fabric store. Think about it... it's perfect! DH can go look at guy stuff & you can fumble fabric to your heart's content!

I used to be in a small, casual sewing circle & we called our "meetings" "Stich & Bitch" sessions! True therapy... friends, fabric & food!

We have a bar here in town by that name... the college kids love it! When their folks call & ask them where they've been, the can honestly say "The Library"!!!

There was a church that was for sale... and my sister in law thought it would make a super quilt shop... the name would have to be ......Sew Heavenly.... I thought that was so neat.

Sew Happy. Or come up with something that starts with the letter "A" since you would want the very first listing in the yellow pages.
