I need to be on a stash diet. I've buying charm packs when I can afford it, only because I can't work on my quilts and cut at the same time.

Contemporary, batiks = these are the fabric i routinely buy for my stash whenever i see them for a good price. i have plenty in stash so i can wait for the sales.

Retro, traditionals, historicals, novelties = only purchase for specific projects, i never keep a stash of this fabric

Holiday = i only buy holiday fabric after the holidays when it goes on sale

Blenders = i never buy blenders - i dye all my own to match specific projects.

I am looking for flannels and denim (jeans) for rag quilts, or for the denim, maybe just a regular quilt, possibly without batting.

I have a relatively small stash so I add to it occassionally. I have been adding a little bit of Christmas fabric. Mostly what I add are calicos. For some reason, they just scream take me home!!! And 1930's reproduction also. That period of time is my favorite, so maybe that is why. I love the charm packs and am always adding a few to my collection.

I am not much on modern or contemporary fabrics. Or fabric with a definite theme (holiday not included.)

Same here, won't even allow myself to go to the fabric store unless I need thread.

I love novelty fabrics especially cat fabric and thats what I usually buy. Then when I go to make something I don't have enough blenders. So I've been limiting my purchases to blenders only. Its been hard!LOL
