Since I just returned from a two week visit with my parents and my sister in florida, I am in withdrawal from such a long quilting hiatus! I cannot wait to get started on ANYTHING that hits my hand first. I did, however, attend a large estate sale and scored a super clean 301 minus the cord for a mere $20. I also scored a HUGE box filled with Thimbleberry fat quarters for an additional $10. I am a very happy camper!!

Right now, just making a few tops to wear for summer. NOT QUILT TOPS!

I'm waiting so I can finish my plans for a quilt I'm making for a gal in Texas. It's a total surprise, so I have no deadlines to meet, which right now, is the best kind of project for me.
This gal has been her county's district attorney and just got voted out, so she's starting a practice, and mentioned a logo a graphic designer is working on, so I thought I'd make her one, with her logo on it.

She's big into horses, and I know that's part of her logo, and it's black with turquoise, that's all I know right now

To: Fav.Fabs, Artsyone, Kd70kyo and Everyone,
I hear all the housekeeping comments and I just want to say: A Wisp and A Promise is good Enough!

I am finnishing projects; until they are all done.
I might be done by Thanksgiving. My best to all.

I am finishing quilting on GD 66 x 95 hot pink quilt. Making & quilting a John Deere themed one for her brother. And finishing quilting a client's wall hanging. As well as cutting fabric for a class on Saturday. Good thing grandkids quilt are edge to edge quilting. I can do a little bit of the other work while Intelliquilter stitches across them.

Learner 747,

Wishing you a fast recovery. That is what happened to my knees, first the left and before the next Dr. visit, the right one.

Rest is the cure now.

This week I want to finish the two purses that are causing me to tear out my hair! Maybe I'll then get around to quilting the wallhanging that has been on my design wall since Christmas, complete the pot pinchers that I cut out at Christmas. THEN, I've got a New York beauty kit that I might pull out of the package since my son no longer camps out in my sewing room. In between, I guess I might ought to do a little house cleaning. Guessing is about as close as I'll probably get, though! LOL
