I found one of those metal tiny scissors and needle tenders with the magnets on the back. I just love it! Saves me from searching for my needles.

Good question, Jan. I bought a beautiful square solid oak quilting frame , adjustable floor model and used it a couple of times. Loved it, but now I have some physical limitations and can no longer use it. Would love to sell it to make room for my "stuff" I am trying to use up before my departure time.... I paid $425 for it and would like to redeem some of that, but doubt any one would pay that much.... It was custom made. So, It was a good buy, not like the EQ7 which I did not like or use.
By the way, I always enjoy your posts and would love to have you for a neighbor!! You are a wise lady!! ();-)

My HQ 16. I love it and use it all the time. I purchased it at the Dallas quilt show 5 years ago.

My Big Board - I do like it a lot! It's on my ironing board ALL the time. I was not and still am not happy with the cover that I bought for it. It was cut very very skimpy.

I mentioned this in the post for worst purchase but I'll repeat here, my BEST purchase actually best two purchases are the Martelli Round About cutting board..it's like a brooklyn revolver only 16 in. across...it's a dream when cutting out triangles especially. And I love the Martelli rotary cutter.

And then the prize-my Horn cutting and sewing table. I came across it at a quilt show and while it was no bargain, it was perfect for my needs and is big enough to both cut on one side and sew on the other with a sewing machine insert so I can push my machine down and out of the way if I need to spread a large piece of fabric out on the top. They no longer make the model or they made a smaller variation. I like/need the larger.

I just bought the clover clips and I'm going to be using them often. Turned the binding on a quilt and held it with the clips...it really was nice not to draw blood as I was sewing...no pins to stick me.
And speaking of pins...I LOVE Pinmoors!! I use them when basting my quilts instead of safety pins...fantastic product.

I bought a small clipper to use on my neck and know what???? IT WORKS FINE FOR REMOVING STITCHES. It cost approx. $10 at Freds. I absolutely love it and would have never thought of using it except for seeing someone here on the Board post a pix of the Quicker Ripper which looks almost exactly like my neck clipper.

This must be the iron I was debating whether to get or not at the Madison show this fall. I will be tempted to get it in Houston (if I see it there) but I will have to carry it on the plane for the trip home.
One of the things I got in Madison last year that I really love is my quilting gloves. They are called Grabaroo's. They are purple and fit my hands so nicely and are great at gripping fabric. I want to get another pair to have on hand incase these ever wear out.
