Scarlet Today is my favorite embroidery needle. They are one of the few needles tapered from tip to eye. Primitive Gathering has a binding needle that is long and sharp.

I love Milward needles.

EasyPeezy - they are still available in the UK. I hadn't seen any for ages, but just recently found some at Hobbycraft (*not* a specialty quilt, or even sewing, shop by any means LOL)

Thanks, Panchita. The problem is postage. Not sure I want to pay that much
for some needles. I will wait when I have an opportunity for the UK.

Tulip and Bohin are fantastic. Tulip is made in Japan, Bohin is made in France.

I was never impressed with John James even when they were still made in England. About 5 (?) years ago they started being manufactured elsewhere and the quality really tanked. I threw those new packs away, they had burrs and bent easily.
