Wondercut ruler for making hst.

Normally I use a rotary cutter for unstiching. Some ladies get quite nervous when I do this in public, so I saw another idea while watching the video on Bargellos. She used a brow shaper, works great and people don't panic when I use it.

Tweezers to thread the needle on the machine that doesn't have a needle threader. Also works great to remove threads from unstitching a seam.

Thread catcher for gathering threads as I sew, if not they end up on the carpet.

This is great. I know I have more favrotites but these are first. ANd I love the Sewing machine lifter my DH made me. Makes it so much better n my back not to have to lean up so far. Thank you.
Maybe you could do a tutorial on the glue sticks for getting the seams to line up perfectly.  Please, pretty Please :!:

It wouldn't be a gadget but I have a new machine and I absolutely love, love, love it! My next favorite would be my 24x36 cutting mat. When I first started the book I had bought suggested 18x24. The owner of the shop I went to said if I had room for bigger to remember I could cut smaller pieces of fabric on a larger mat but you can't cut larger fabric on a smaller mat without moving it they it could be uneven.

My bamboo stilleto, walking foot, rotary cutter and mat.

I have always wanted to use glue stick on seams, but was afraid it would gum up the needle. Thanks for the info!

Favorites (not sure they really fit here) are the needle threader on my machine and the auto thread cutter. I do a lot of paper piecing and the thread cutter is marvelous!

Also my favorite rulers are the Omnigrip rulers.

My favorite things are my rotary cutter (which the grimlins stole and won't give back) My cut and press board and my brother LS-30. And my kids glue sticks.

This past Saturday my LQS shop had a 15% off sale on the employee favorites. They were: Heat N Bond, the rotary cutter, the Easy Angle ruler, the Quilting Puzzles and mine was the forked pins.... we sold out of the forked pins!

The owner loves the beautiful quilting puzzles and we had a bit of a competition for sales that day. Her puzzles vs my forked pins. Every time I would demo the forked pins... they bought them!

Try them... you will love them!

What are forked pins? Hope this isn't a silly question!
