Now that I'm back home and quilting again, my LA friend is going to be seeing me a lot. When she does the bigger quilts for me, I don't baste them. She just puts them in her frame and goes for it. And they are always so nicely done. I'm in the middle of some QFK's that are small enough I do them myself (the basting and quilting). But I still don't like that basting step much.

I love it all except BINDING!!!! Every time this subject comes up, I long for someone to live close enough for me to barter with. I would quilt and they could bind. No such luck though, noone even close.

Sandwiching, without a doubt. I have issues keeping things straight and not wrinkled!!!

I hate all of it, and love all of it. It's a love/hate relationship. I want to plan it and have it appear before my eyes.
