My choice would be applique as the size of lettering you want is pretty big. I have also embroidered on to a white linen and then hand sewn on but that is dependent on having an embroidery machine option. I did see on pattern though where the lettering was made w/the actual angled fabric pieces. I will look for the link.

I have used fusible backing on the material I liked, than used my cricut to cut them out. New mat and new blade made the job easy!

I recently made a Guide quilt for my daughter, I wanted to include the Guide Promise, so I typed it out on my computer in a font I liked, enlarged and printed, I then traced it on to the fabric, using a light box and hand embroidered around them.

I am making a quilt with letter. I just traced the letters backwards on fusible web and plan to do a buttonhole stitch around the letters. You do this during the piecing of a quilt top.

I did cut the letter out on my Cricut machine i tried to do some fabric but it did not work maybe because it is a old matt and blade. maybe i will try with it fused as you suggested. Thanks for the Idea
