I need to quilt one that I made for the "Quilts of Valor".

I'll be help my DW teach a beginers quilting class for our church so I have a D9P top 2/3 finished that will be used as a teaching tool but I will also do a diplicate to give away to a hospice.

I'm using the Bargello pattern to make some seat covers for my DW's '62 T-bird.

I'll be making a New York Yankee themed quilt for my good friend in Chicago.

I also plan on using a jelly roll I bought to make a quilt.

MNQuilter, if you follow along with this thread all year long, whether you finish all of this list or not, your going to be pleased with yourself, at how motivating actually paying attention to your projects, instead of dodging, lol,...you'll get more done.
As long as we keep quilting right?:-D

Right, quiltncrazy.

Without last years thread, I don't think I would have gotten as much done...nor would I think I gained experience at all. Santa Claus brought me a new camera this year. It even came with a little card that said Hot Pink was the ONLY color they had in the workshop. Hee Hee. So now I have to learn how to take and post pics all over again.

Someday...I'll have the time to do exchanges and round robins. But I'm happy I have a list for this year, and I'm happy I have so few that I can leave room to be spontaneous. I really want to make a table runner this year, so if it's not already on my list...I want to make one.

well, i got some more cleaning/reorganizing done in my sewing cave, and my brother brought me a little bit more stuff to put in there. I never say no
I have to get some blocks done this week and a few squishies etc. mailed out very soon.
I thought if I wrote it down, it would give me a kick in the rear, so i can say I did it when i come here again.
ok, mousie...get on it...!crack! (whip sound ) lol!

I got the boys quilts' tacked out last weekend. So those are the first 3 completed for the year. Once I figure out how to get the pictures off the new camera and onto the computer, we can start a pics thread.

I've spent all this weekend making the final drawings and getting all the directions prepared so I can start The Anniversary Quilt. I'll be dabbling in paper piecing for the first time. I've done sew and flip on foundation before, but not paper. These blocks won't be backed with muslin, that's for sure. I went and bought some foundation paper and some cream fabric. I decided I didn't like the khaki I had for this project already. Just add it to the stash :)

Hope to make the first cut next weekend.

Ok, here's my list.

1 Do Christmas 2010 quilts for 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Right now I have zero ideas so if anyone has some great patterns, I could use some. (13 year old boy, 10 year old girl, 7 year old girl, 3 year old boy)

2. Sunbonnet Sue and Sunbonnet Sam quilts.

3. Finally make a quilt for our bed. Have the pattern but no fabric yet.

4. Get pieces cut for a scrappy postage stamp quilt.

5. Make another quilt for each of my boys. They've outgrown the last ones.

Mousie: wow, your going to do all that this year?
I have been under the weather, so haven't been able to sew. Now I have four days of appointments to go to.
Maybe by next weekend I will make it back to my machine. I miss her

Going to give it a good shot. Probably won't get it all done but if I write it down, I'll feel more motivated to tick some things off the list.
