I have some fabrics from the '30's, '50's, & '70's and probably some from many years in between. Yikes! Some of it is much older than I am.

I've got feed sacks and they are about 50 years old. Plus I keep running across 36" wide fabric in my stash. When did they quit making 36" fabric?

I have some from my grandmothers sewing things-1920's and 30's. Also have quilt tops and patches she didn't get finished--really old UFO's.

I have a large piece of silk that was given to me. I think it is from late 40's or early 50's. Been meaning to make it into a blouse, just haven't done it yet.

Be careful with silk it tends to rot, especially in folds.

I found scraps yesterday from things that I made my kids and nieces and nephews when they were little. They are all in their early 30's.

I recently ran across the curtains I used in my daughter's nursery - she'll be 32 in June - have enough to make a quilt for when he graduates to his big boy bed - plan on adding borders in primary colors of red, green, blue, yellow - should be nice - also tore apart and requilted a panel quilt that was one of her favorites when she was small - love old fabric

I found some fabric in my basement that I bought from Ben Franklin store probably in the 70s. the yardage was written on a small piece of paper and pinned on the fabric. Ugly too.
