My mom has got me hooked on batiks! I hated them before I quilted her last batik quilt...I fell in love with them...big mistake....Now I have to keep going to the LQS and buying and spending hours online looking (almost ready for a big order ..LOL)

Maybe not with all of us quilters...LOL

Hard to narrow down - but currently using scraps and enjoying the chalenge. Making a string quilt in mostly brights. Next on the plate will be a 30's repro pinwheel quilt.

in organizing my fabrics-in the larger amounts, i have a lot of prints. i need to fill in the 'holes' with some blenders. don't have much pink, yellow. seems to be mostly blues, greens and purples. this next month most of my fabric purchases are 'supposed' to be backings and fabrics to complete the quilts i need to make this year or already have started.

I have been collecting purple FQ's from every LQS I visit plus any quilt shows I get to go to for a few years now for a quilt one day for me. But now I have added batiks into the collecting mix. I just love batiks and am now starting a FQ collection of them as well for a SOMEDAY project for me. Wonder when that will happen. LOL :-) :-)

Trying to use from my stash. It's hard to pick a favorite, like repo prints but then there are so many other beautiful fabrics out there. Sometimes it's the day that determines what is my favorite.
