When you do more than one border, would you prefer to do mitred or just the norm, and why?

Also when doing more than one if mitred, do you join them first before attaching, or attach one at a time as you go?

I'm about to start on the borders of a queen size quilt, it has 3 and I'm just a little unsure which way to go, so looking forward to your input.

Thanks heaps for your help. :-D

When there's multiple borders I like to sew all the strips together and miter the corners as if it's one border.

I don't miter, except for the binding.

Sew the strips together and then miter. Otherwise is a pain to match them.

Another question is, What is the intended use for the quilt? i.e. Are you going to submit it to a show?

No, it will be put to good use, not that that makes any difference to me, because I still like to do my quilts to the best of my ability. :D
