    Default thimbleberries neutrals

I have all kinds of thimbleberries fabric in my stash and would use it up if I could find the light creamy colored neutrals that were part of the collections and are OOP. Or, has anyone used a current fabric from other designers and been really happy with the result?

I think, if I read your post correctly, you need light creamy neutrals? If so, you should be able to cross over to another collection or line of colors and be okay.

If it were me, I'd create a sample card(s) of the Thimbleberries I wanted to use and tuck that into my purse before heading out.

Best of luck - hope you show us what you end up with!!!

I NEVER limit myself to fabric from one collection or one designer in a quilt. You might want to stick to country creams or tans characteristic of Thimbleberries. There are LOTs available.

I almost always pick from more than one line. Especially for a neutral it should not be hard at all to find one that you like with the fabric you have.

I have used neutrals from the Kansas Troubles (Moda) lines successfully with Thimbleberries fabrics.

I have a lot of Thimbleberries that I got at an estate sale and recently picked up Andover Fabrics Dimples A1867-N117 to finish a UFO runner. http://www.andoverfabrics.com/Grid.p...upName=Dimples. I also think that P&B Textiles Apple Cider would look good with the TBs. http://pbtex.com/html/app12.html The lady who made a lot of the blocks used various manufacturers' cream prints and they are beautiful. (P&B Textiles -Fiber Weave was her favorite) Best of luck in looking- that is the fun part!
