Same here. I used to be really good & started the day after Christmas (so I could have it all done by my deadline of Halloween -- that way I could actually enjoy the holidays). But I'm not nearly so organized anymore. I always have tons of holiday fabric on hand (bought on sale after the holidays or whenever) so that's never a problem. I need to think about the holidays right now but there just to always be something else that snags my attention. I've wanted to make Christmas quilts for both of my bedrooms for years now, have fabric for them & still have yet to do them. Grrrrrrrr....

As fast as the first part of this year has gone by, I need to think of it and do something about it now!

For me, it depends on whether I decide I am making the project as a gift or for myself. Usually, if it is for myself, I procrastinate. If I decide I am making gifts, I will start sooner and get inspired by blog hopping. I do keep a little 'list' of projects I do that family makes positive comments on....and consider those for gifts.

I have already started planning what to make for Christmas gifts this year, although it won't be with the sewing machine. I'm going to put my crochet hook to use this year for my co-workers.

I just got around to ordering some Christmas fabric today. I started a BOM Snowman quilt in January and have made several quilts that I'll give as Christmas gifts. I so love to make Christmas quilts from Christmas fabrics!

I don't celebrate, so no need to think about it EVER!

I have begun already, but my downfall is that I end up giving them to the person now, because I can't wait until the actual occassion...So. I end up running at the last minute to buy a gift for the actual holiday or birthday....
