    Default Longarm rulers

In another thread someone said they use Invisagrip on their longarm rulers. Anyone else do this or found something else that works? I'm also interested in anything you know about these rulers. Which ones do you like, etc.? Thanks

I use Rubber cement - the stuff your children used for school projects. It is clear, thin and does not slide. It also does not harm the ruler. When it looks yucky - it peals off ready for a new coat. Dusty Farrell at a MQX Expo talked about this and I have now done it on many of my rulers. Works fantastically.

I don't use anything. I bought some rulers from www.accentsindesign.com and they have a little sticky strip like the gripping side of velcro. I don't have a problem with the rulers that don't have a grip to them. Just remember to NOT sew beyond your hand span.

I use spray baste and then some kind of goo remover to remove it when I have used them for awhile and they are not holding as well. But mainly I have found that with alot of practice, I can use them without anything on the back.

I also use Rubber Cement. Works like a charm and CHEAP. You can get it anywhere. Just spread it on let dry,you are ready to go!

someone gave me a roll of invisigrip as a gift a few years ago- i used it on all of my rulers- my 6"x24" cutting ruler, 12 1/2" square ruler & 2 of my quilting rulers-
it works well- i've had it on my rulers for over 6 years- no problems.
not sure what you want to know about the quilting rulers-
i buy mine from the longarm dealer who sells my machine- they are fairly thick (3/8" i think-may be 1/2") one of mine has an open groove in the center of it to place the machine foot in- follows the groove to make straight lines= an second one i use along the outside of the ruler- holding the quilting machine foot against the side of the ruler.

I think I may have used just blue painters tape a few times. May have to try the rubber cement.

I have never had a problem with my rulers or templates slipping. Now watch me have all sorts of problems. LOL! Well at least now I have a solution.
