Most of the time I just use steam, but some times I do use sizing...and just started using the Best press...got some as a gift and like it.

Me, too. I don't even like using steam as it can stretch the fabric. I used to use steam and nothing ever fit. Since I have been using a dry iron my seams line up good.

Usually steam works but have pulled out the starch before.

I use a very small piece of cloth which I spray with water then put it on the
seam and press the seam once. Remove the cloth and continue pressing with
a dry iron. I don't like water or steam to get all over as it can cause some
unwanted shrinkage and distort my block. My seams are as flat as they can get. :-D

I starch my fabric every time I lay an iron to it.

I use a spray bottle of water. Once in a blue moon I use starch.
