Cool Where to buy affordable tone on tone white fabric online?

So I am happily sewing along and making a wall hanging for the online swap when I certainly realize I am out of tone on tone white fabric. Normally I would make a fun trip to Hobby Lobby and buy 6 yards or so and have a nice trip out and about. Since that is not an option I thought I would buy it online. Nope all sold out.

What is a good tone on tone fabric online that is affordable. I am not looking to spend much more then 6 dollars or so. I find Walmart white on white too coarse and some others too poor a quality. Marshalls Goods has some but is it any good? Which one should I get and where?

I have all this fabric but no white on white tone back ground. LOL

Thanks!

Anna

Oh wow! When I'm out of tone on tone white, I'm out of fabric! Happily, we have a Ben Franklin Craft store in the are that sells their fabric in flat folds, and it's less expensive than from the stores that have bolts only. Anyway, that's where I get my tone on tone white, but that's a lo-o-o-ong way from you.....sorry....

I purchased some from QuiltedTwins.com that is very nice. Prices are great as long as you buy enough at a time to offset the shipping.

I'm curious because that is my hold up too. Every time I think of something I want to make, I need white..

I have not ordered either of these particular items, but have ordered other fabric from this company before and always been very pleased with both the quality and the prices. They are priced by the 1/2 yd.

Here is a piece of white on ecru from a another good source that I have been happy with. It is 108" wide and has free shipping.

This gal has a lot of white on white options that you might want to consider for later as it is more expensive than what you say you want to spend now. She offers $2.00 shipping if you order more than I item, she only carries high quality, has great service, and is really great to work with.

Hopefully these suggestions will give you a new source or two.

Looks like it's mostly above your price point, but equilter is my first stop

They will cut half yards.

Connecting threads has some too. I usually pick up as many things as I can afford because after fifty dollars it is free shipping.

I've never had any problems with any of Marshall's or Quilted Twins fabrics, great service and prices.

I didn't know Ben Franklin stores were still around, really liked that store. We use to have one here (Ft.Wayne), but it closed many years ago.

Just to let you know Connecting Threads has very slow shipping. I waited almost a month for a small order but my order from Thousands of Bolts got here in a week.
