Our church has been making stuffed frogs for over 40 years. The couple that has been heading it up has had to step down due to age. I have taken over the ministry. We make stuffed frogs and give them to children in the hospital.

We usually use double knit that people donate to us. That stretches nicely and makes them easier to make. Sometimes we get cute knits but most of the time they are pretty ugly. What child wants an ugly frog?

Is there anywhere I can find cute knits cheap? I will be going to the re-sale shops, goodwill, etc. I was just wondering if any of you knew of a website or anything. Thanks!!

try a freecycle..sometimes you can post what you want and people would love to donate the material for such a wonderful cause like you all are doing

Thank you! I am a member of a local free-cycle. I had forgotten all about them!

Haven't thought about sweatshirt material. It's stretchy, but, I don't think it comes in cute fabrics. Unless you have something I don't know about! :)
