I am looking for free quilting design patterns that i can download to my embroidery machine. I just want outlines such as feathers or scroll or ????? Anybody out there using this method for quilting one square @ a time in emb hoop???? thanks in advance!

I go to emblibrary.com but they don't have too many free patterns. What they do have for quilting outlines is very inexpensive.

I have never done a quilt like this, but I have done this on table runners. Just be careful hooping your sandwich, loosen the screw more that usual. Also, on a large piece be sure the rest of your quilt is well supported so that it doesn't put any drag on your hoop while it is stitching.

If I find some free quilting designs I will post them...I'll take a look for you.

When I want something like that I just Google 'free quilting patterns' and you'll come up with some really great ones.

Thanks I checked out the google site. I haven't embrodiery in a while, maybe the new designs will inspire me again.
