Hi Aully,
I also live in Calgary. I have been buying fabric and batting from Fabricdepot.com. They are in Portland, Oregeon and they not only ship, we don't pay taxes or duty on the stuff. It usually takes about ten days to receive your goods.

I purchase mine at http://tristan.bc.ca/cart/home.php, its a canadian site and they are reasonably priced... I just ordered a whole bolt of Legacy Natural Blend 80/20 with scrim....I have to say that it is equal to Warm and Natural as Warm and Natural is usually all I ever use.

Oh as far as I understand, Joann's doesn't ship to Canada

I have gotten great buys on batting but can't recall if it's www.fabric.com or www.fabricdepot.com Sorry. And I don't know about your other qualifiers at those sites.

I also use quiltedmemoriesllc.com. Lyn, the owner, is very helpful and will reply to your e-mails usually within a few hours. Her prices are incredible and shipping is a fair price.
