I would like to purchase and cannot find them again. Anyone remember seeing these? It was a great idea because you could store the bobbin on top of the matching thread/type.

I know what you are talking about but can't remember the name of them either. Wish I were at home so I could look at mine for you (saved the package for just this reason).

Can't help you with what I think you're asking about, other than to suggest using the Search function at the top of the page. However, depending upon how you're storing your thread (i.e., if there's enough clearance), some people use golf tees. Good luck.

with spools with self locking thread catcher

lock spool thread in the locker, with a long tail, run the tail thru the bobbin, then catch both the bobbin & spool thread in the locker

I've seen some with a little pincushion made on top of a golf tee and the tee stuck into the bobbin and then the thread. It was cute. like a field of flowers.

You can also make a thread rack with longer dowels that will hold a spool of thread plus a couple of bobbins filled with that thread.

I you use a thread rack, put a straw over the spindle to put the bobbin on each spool of thread. You can cut the straw to length you need. I do this to hold two spool of thread on each spindle. I don't see why the rack makers don't make the spindles longer in the first place.
