Yes, I have tried it. I purchased it in Az and now I can't find it here. Makes me so mad. But, I have been making my own.

1 cup water
1 cup fabreeze
I guess if you can't find Staflo the recipe won't help you. Sorry.

I'm also in SW PA, and I have found spray starch at Giant Eagle, Foodland, Family Dollar, Walmart, Dollar General....but I don't think any store sells the big bottles of liquid starch that I remember seeing long ago. THAT is what I have been looking for.
The only place I have seen it here is at Walmart. They carry the 1/2 gal bottles. That will last me a long time.

I use Mary Ellen's Best Press. You can buy online. It's a light starch and I get the lavendar smell..You can get this online or I get mine at Hancocks (cheaper) or my LQS. It's my favorite

Right before Mary Ellen's Best Press was available to buy, Walmart sold a clear pressing spray that was exactly like Mary Ellen's. It was Linen, Vanilla, and Lavender scented. It wasn't with the spray starches, it was in the ironing board section. It was great and very inexpensive. I can't find it anywhere now. I wonder if the name was changed to Mary Ellen's or if the brand was bought out.

You can find homemade starch on the web, there are several recipes. You have to use one where you "cook" the potion. Such as http://community.tasteofhome.com/for...0/4767692.aspx

I went to Giant Eagle in Washington & Waynesburg and asked. They said they didn't have spray starch. Will try Walmart and Dollar Stores. Thank you

Thanks for the recipe, sure hope I don't have to make my own, but if I do I'll be trying this recipe.
