I purchased a Tri Me Pattern (Eagles Nest) for a quilt and it suggests using a Bias Triangle and Half Rectangle Ruler. I'd rather not add this expense to my project. How can I work around purchasing these rulers? Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm posting a link to the picture that I think you are referring to, maybe someone can give you advice after looking at it.

if you know the angle, you can use a straight ruler with that angle on it. or you can make a template of your own out of cardboard or plastic. some folks have their local glass shop/department cut plexiglass for their template.

True bias is a 45 degree angle. This is marked on a lot of rulers, an easy one to use is a square up ruler with the diagonal line from corner.
