Wow! lovely pictures of your scrappy quilts!

Do you decide where to put the colors in the block or just how ever it comes out? Do you figure dark, medium lights or just go for it?

Thanks for sharing your information.

Love your scrappy quilts! I just now have been introduced to them. However, I can't seem to get away from the matchy-match thing. Here's a pic. of a matchy, strip quitl I'm working on.

Hi there, yes I am a fan of scrap quilts and using recycled fabrics, there is a special charm about these kind of quilts. I apprciate how the ladies of long ago made these wonderful quilts not only on a budget but the quilts were sometimes works of art in them selves. I love the challenge of working this way, although just a beginner myself I am already collecting for my next quilt!

Scrappy quilts are my favorite. Although I have to think about what color goes with what. Haven't gotton to the part that you just use the piece you pick up. Maybe someday. Working on a scrappy QAYG right now and it is turning out so nice. Love it. Will post when done.

I make scrappy quilts. They are my favorite quilts. I started with controlled scrappy. My latest is everything but the kitchen sink.
