Having a big enough problem with scraps too, why start another problem? I know one lady who said she has a thread jar and asked me what she should do with it......I didn't know anybody even thought about saving thread. I told her to give it to the birds . . all I could think of.

I have a distant cousin that saves threads from ripping out seams which I think is rediculously funny , But it has also been said that she buys 2 ply bathroom tissue and rewinds onto seperate rolls to be thrifty!!!!

I normally toss my thread clippings and short ends into the snippit bin...... eventually it will go into something stuffed with the other snippets and trimmings

I like the Christmas ornament idea tho@!
