My heart goes out to you and I am very envious, no one in my family sews/quilts. I would love to hear my niece or nephew show an interest and especially if they asked for my guidance. Maybe someday I hope. Have fun.

What a great thing you are doing. I'm sure this young man will appreciate your time and effort. It will certainly teach him patience.

You have a loving heart, which will go far in helping your nephew. God Bless. Have fun quilting , tell him we're all behind him and would love to see the quilt even if it's just part way done.

Fantastic way for therapy! without even really knowing this is what he's doing...finding his way while creating works of art! I'm so glad you are there for him!

LOL we all should name our machines DR. Therapy... IT was my sanity while I was working (long story; Reader's Digest version: but someone's wife was put in jail for embezzlement and they needed her hubby off the streets!LOL so I was let go !LOL). It still is my therapy to sew when I get down about the job and not finding a new one; but I feel things happen for a reason and the reason will eventually be revealed to me one day .. LOL
Passing this hobby onto him may so help him focus and move forward in life .. Thank you for being so kind to help him out and hope it works out for him for sure !!

Since one can get totally lost in quilting, this will be great for him. The bonus you get is spending time with him.
