I have several quilts that are either predominantly yellow or have yellow in them. I find it's a great color to use when used correctly. :D :D
I agree whole-heartedly!

I don't care for yellow so it is not popular in my quilts.

That's totally understandable....we all have our favorite colors. :-)

A quilter after my own heart. :)

I use a lot of yellow, and have made at least one quilt where it was the dominant color. I think it really wakes up some designs. I wouldn't say it has to be in all quilts, but it's not a color to be afraid to use.

I like yellow. but, honestly, haven't even paid that much attention. Will have to keep my eyes open. You are very observant.

Love yellow myself. Made a log cabin using yellow and purple for my 9 year old GD and it came out so pretty and sunny.

I feel the same about yellow in quilts. I love yellow. But in quilts as in gardens, a little goes a long way.
I thought I'd add some photos of quilts to demonstrate what I mean, These are mine. The zinnia table runner is a summer piece, but wow, a bit much. The others make better use of the yellow.

Yellow is just not one of my favorite colors. I do think it looks pretty in quilts though.
