I got a job at my local quilt shop!!! I was in there yesterday spending my husband's hard earned money  and the owner asked me if I wanted to come in and work one day a week. She pays in fabric---so every Wednesday I will be earning about 6 1/2 yards of fabric!! Is this fun, or what? Both of my daughters are excited because they know I cannot use 26 yards of fabric a month-so I will be sharing with them too.

The owner also told me that she would like for me to make shop samples sometimes. She will give me the fabric and the pattern, I will make the top, she will supply the batting and backing, send it out to be quilted, and when she is finished using it in the shop as a sample--I get to have it!! Isn't that a sweet deal????

I am really excited---one day a week for all that fabric. What more could a girl ask for?

Good job is a bit redundant, eh? LOL
I am glad for you, and you will grow so much in learning different techniques. And, helping family with their stash too!
Good job ... that is all I can think!
