I've done nothing but cut fabric most of the summer. If I can finish cutting my squares for the 2.5" swap, I'll join. I love the wonky D9P.

I am busy on Friday night and Sat night and ds2 is coming home from college but I am going to give it a try. I have enough half square log cabins for a lap quilt and enough squares for a disappearing 9 patch for a lap quilt so I really have to get these together.

Count me in. My goal is to add two borders to an Attic Windows and then start on the pieced back.

I will be LA practicing on a sample quilt. I need lots of it! Nine 15" blocks and a border to play in. Just bought a 4"clamshell ruler to learn.

Also working on UFO #6. A scrappy 'Snake in the Hollow'

I've been waiting & watching for this post for the last few days. Yay! Yes, I will be there, tho am not sure what I'll be working on. There's a 1-day mystery here on the web that day so I may do that (I need to get a baby quilt made so that would kill 2 birds with one stone). Or I may piece some backs. Or work on getting some Dresden Plate blocks ready to be appliqued. I will be there, tho! And I, too, am so thankful & grateful we have these days. They really are worthwhile!

I hope to spend almost this whole WEEKEND sewing, if this darn flu bug will leave me alone! Count me in!

I have LOTS of quilts in progress that are destined to be Christmas presents...I really do need to spend a lot of time at the machine over the next few weeks anyway.

After about 6 weeks of very little quilting I have been sewing up a storm this last week or two. Have made two small lap quilts for my two grandaughters (just need to complete the hand sewing for two sides of the binding on one). That leaves four WIP (sounds so much better than UFO); two identical twin size quilts which have 48 appliqued blocks (seemed like a good idea at the time!) an embroidered tote bag and a sewing pouch. So this weekend I am hoping to finish piecing one of the quilts and to applique and put together three columns of the other quilt, I have set myself a target to finish by the end of September so I can begin on my Christmas list. Rachel you will have to keep these days going to keep me on track. See you all on Sunday, rotary cutters at the ready and machine engines running.

Is it Sunday yet???? I am anxious to get to Sunday...even tho I can quilt everyday, seems the focus of our virtual days keeps me enthused, and I accomplish so much!! What I really need to be working on is gifts for Christmas...Disablilty does not leave a large gift budget...Anyone with ideas for kids and married children? Appreciate all the help I can get!!

How about advent calendars. I know it will be after the advent when they get them, but they make such great keepsakes to pull out every year!! Wallets and purses seem to be a big hit for girls too nowadays, especially with the popularity of Vera Bradley .... Sorry I am not much help!!

Just a quick reminder!! Sunday is the day!! I have been working on patterns, and I can't wait to be able to get more done!! My hubby is planning on keeping our son occupied the whole day, so I am going to be a quilting fiend. Here's a peek at a few designs I have already done:

So how is everyone else doing getting stuff together?

Cheers!
