 I did the same thing at my doctor's office. She came in and asked me why I was staring at the floor so intently? I told her I am a quilter, always looking for designs, she thought that was pretty cool and said she'd never look at another tiled floor the same way she did before! Too funny.

I went to Kohl's the other day to get myself at least one updated summery top (I needed something semi-dressy to wear to a wedding reception.) Anyway, I tried on about 7 different ones in different styles and colors. What did I see in the mirror -- quilt fabric....

I did manage to buy a short sleeved sweater -- in black....

Am I too far gone to be saved??

I went even a little further in a restaurant. I was in thier bathroom looking at the floor tile thinking what a neat quilt pattern. so went back to our table, got the paper place mat took it back to bathroom and traced the floor tile onto place mat. I still have that to this day. When I think I am going over the edge, I drag it out and say you were once worse than you are now. There is hope there is hope. :?:

LOL on top of LOL...you both made me laugh.
I can honestly tell you that i have never...gone anywhere that I didn't see quilt patterns all around me, since becoming a quilter.
I have even stopped women and asked them the name of the color blouse or dress they were wearing!

Been there Done that. But did you come up with a pattern? If you did than it was worth it.
