The worst mistake I have made, that is undoable, is not taking a photo of an 1850s quilt I helped to restore. I appliqued on about 320 1 inch hexagons on a six-sided pineapple quilt, as well as a hundred or so 1/4 inch by 1 to 2 inch logs. All the logs were wool, and the hexagons were black taffate-type fabric. I worked for about 3 months on it and can't believe I didn't take a picture.

I just did that recently with a jelly roll quilt idea I got on this board and have done most all of the other things, too. However, according to my finances, the worse mistake I ever made was starting!
