Default Can't stop sewing scraps...Part 2 need color advice

Well, I have been sewing those scraps day after day and have come up with 48 blocks that are 6 1/2 in squares. Now I think I want to sew 2 inch strips between each block and row. As you can see from the picture I think I have every color imaginable in this hodge-podge and now I'm stuck on a solid color for the strips that will 'frame' them. I kinda want to avoid white or black....too traditional. Any suggestions?

Red seems to occur in all the blocks in some form or fashion. perhaps a red and that pretty orange/yellow that is in a couple of the blocks

I think green would look nice and there is some green in almost all the blocks. Great crumb blocks!

Great crumb blocks! Any color would be good--how about orange or turquoise-?

Great blocks. I'm partial to red but any color would work.

I'd do either red or the yellow/gold shade. Red will blend it all well, Yellow will make the other yellow as well as the blocks themselves Pop!
