Ok I'll be the first to ask and leave myself open for whatever. Am I right that these are vintage singers made into long arm machines? Kind of the stretch limo of singer

I recently bought a one of these machines (used) and absolutely love it. I managed to find one listed for $1000 on Craigslist only 80 miles away, and since the table had been downsized to 6ft from 12ft, she let me have it for $800. This leaves me funds to get the rails and pole extensions from WOW Quilting. It's my first longarm, and I'm looking forward to many years on this machine. They may even have used ones at the factory...

This is only after a few hours practice on my new machine

They are "stretched" Singer 201 machines - and beautifully done

i had bought a used one once. as soon as i began using it, i realized that the small holes to thread the thread through would become an annoyance to me due to my vision. so i resold it right away. it had been recommended by a galfriend up in Calgary who just loves hers! she does seem to have to oil it frequently, though. she has a pretty good relationship with Rick from WOW and got him to stretch her Juki. She said he did a great job with that.

its not just vintage machines. they also modify babylock and its great. i purchased one for $2500 and it included, the 18" babylock, the pinnacle frame (up to king size), Sure Stitch Regulator (front and back), laser guide, speed control, panto boards and different feet. i love it and it was in my budget. its definitely a better way to go as oppose to investing $18k on other machines. i'm happy.
