further down in article it does mention using an "American quilt" so guess we are doing something right with all our quilts!

Read that to DH...he laughed.I make quilts & we sleep under a cheap (not down) comforter.He thinks quilts are way too heavy for our K size bed.

My Hungarian grandmother made down comforters to lay on as well as under. you never got cold, couldn't move much either. It was like sleeping in a warm hug!
