I bought fabric for projects, have the patterns but DH is finding all types of trips etc quilt that was made by their o keep me from my stash. So not much will get done before the holidays. I am, however, sending my great nieces each a quilt made by their great-great grandma. They are just babies but I know their mother will care for the herilooms

I'm making a lap quilt for my aunt and tons of American Girl dolls for my best friend's two little girls. (I am not a "sew-er", I'm a quilter. Those little inset sleeves are giving me fits! LOL!)

I made the quick tissue holders for the staff at my Dr.'s office because they have been so kind to me, during a difficult year. I'm going to try making the scarves from the recent tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Co., as I found some breast cancer awareness fleece, and want to make one for my DD and DDIL for Christmas. I'm also going to make a Christmas dress for my DGD and maybe a stuffed toy or Raggedy Ann. I don't make grandiose plans or anything. LOL.

I have 3 quilts, 20 Sashay crochet scarfs, 5- 10 minute Table Runners, 4 Snowman lighted globes, Pillowcases plus some baked goodies.

Our grandchildren are getting to be adults and all of the families have more than they need. We will have a get together with my step-children, their spouses and our daughter and her husband on the 23. For the last several years we have each brought a generic gift and played a game where they went around the room several times before finding their final owner so they have to be pretty gender neutral. My husband found the perfect huge box of chocolates for his gift. Being grandma I always have something made for each of the children, spouses and grandchildren. This year everyone will get a fleace Raven's scarf. I am decorating T shirts with embroidery for my three granddaughters and one for my grandson. For my daughter and son-in-law I decorated two hooded sweatshirts with embroidered characters from the Simpsons. They each have a dog that they have to walk on a regular basis. They also ride scooters when the weather cooperates even to their jobs in Washington DC. If I get around to it I will also decorate shirts for the parents. It doesn't matter that my eldest step-son is now 50 he is still our son.
My three brothers and thier families don't usually exchange with us. If we end up getting the whole family together this year I will cross that bridge when we come to it. I can always whip us something machine embroidered like guest towels or napkins etc.
My husband asked me what I wanted. I don't know what to tell him. Anything craft related that I want I go ahead and purchase. I have several pieces of good jewlery that I wear all of the time and am not a clothes hog since I wear a size 22. If I didn't purchase another yard of fabric for a year I would still have more than enough to keep me busy. I have more than a thousand dollars tied up in machine embroidery software 80% of which I have never used and thread coming out my ears. We have done a lot of traveling in our 35 years together but my health is getting so that I prefer not to go to far from home and doing a lot of walking or standing hurts. Getting together with our children and grandchildren is the best present I could recieve. They each live at least an hour from us by car but it might as well be on the moon. We are lucky if we see them in person three or four times a year. When the grandchildren were little I ocassionally got to babysit but those times were few and far between. The youngest of them is now 15.

Made mug buckets for adults and a cats and daddy totes for daughters of a friend . A lad? Stocking for another friend and trying to knit a scarf to go in stocking but if you drop a stitch have to star again. Tomorrow is day 3 trying.

I've made hot plates three to a set. One very large (holds a turkey roaster) and two 10" square ones. I made 4 different sets. One was Dolphins, Tall ships, Horses and Lions. East person had their favorite theme that they wanted.

I don't think that early but I do stuff all year around and a lot of it ends up being Christmas. AND MOST OF IT IS VERY EASY! Or I wouldn't be making it.

I want to make one of the 4 pillow floor mats someone on here told us about, but I don't know if it will be done by Christmas.. Maybe for the two younger Grands for Valentines day.

I'm thinking our "Barn Rat" could use something like the car wallet . She's a little 15 month old girl but she's with her daddy &/or her Grampy a lot of the time, in the barn. Thus her nickname. As long as one pocket had room for a cookie or two.

I made Infinity scarves from the tute on Missouri Star Quilts. Found beautiful Minkee online. They sell for $48. Mine cost around $6 and my twenty-something girls will love them. Made place mats, sets of cloth napkins, potholders. I wish I thought to make myself a cookie-baking apron. One just for this week. Oh well!
