I'm with u. I have almost every BOM, pattern, and fabric line, not to mention her upholstry home dec fabrics. I have so much fabric that I give it away, but not my Robyn Pandolph. Have u seen her new site? should go there!! I also like Blackbird Designs Primative - patterns and fabrics and books. I have lately been taken with newer lines though polka dots and stripes I think it's Blank, but then there is Fig Tree...I just love fabric!! :-P

You know, I just don't get into who made/designed the fabric. I couldn't tell you whose fabric I have in my small stash of fabrics. I go for patterns and colors and all the things that make fabric beautiful and would make a quilt beautiful, should I ever get to finish one. What difference does it make who designed it other than they are geniuses all around, but I just love the look of the fabrics and how they compliment each other, regardless of who manufactured or designed them.

It can be really handy to know who the designer and manufacturer is if you run short on a fabric needed to finish a quilt. It makes searching sooooooo much easier.

Is Thimbleberries still putting out new lines of fabric ??
I know she still does patterns & books but I don't see any TB fabrics at shops here anymore ? Looks like they've been overtaken by Moda and Red Rooster etc, at least in our part of the country ...

Probably Moda as every time I pick up a piece to look at it in the shop, it is usually Moda. I really like several of them.

I didn't either until I started going to another LQS. Seems to be the way the industry is run these days. That's why this shop owner is off to Quilt Market in Houston this week to get in on the new lines being put out. The reason I can say I have a fave is b/c I noticed that most of the batiks I was buying were Hoffman.

    Kansas Troubles

When I found it just a few years ago I try (up, maybe until now with the economy) of getting 1/2 yard of each fabric.

May change though since things seeem to be getting worse.

I'll chime in for Whimsicals for Red Rooster, I absolutely love her fabrics and quilts, Jo Morton and all of her amazing fabrics, and Kansas Troubles and their wonderful lines. And on and on!!!!!!!!
