I have a small cutting mat to the right of my machine for cutting small things. I have shelves from ceiling to floor on one side of the room that is to the left of my sewing machine table, and I have access to all my supplies and fabrics there. In other areas of the room I have my cutting table and ironing surface next to it.
Drooling ;-)

Looks very nice. I really envy that big window.

My grandson has moved in with me so I lost my sewing room
Needed to covert bedroom into both... so decided to
Call it "my studio" pretend I live in Paris and look out
my window while I sew ... I bought two tables with leaves from Ikea
that when not in use r only 8" wide... Bought some shelves
at Home depot and put them up for myself for stash so I have can see
fabric at a glance which make my walls very colorful and made a design board out of felt and a curtain rod .... When he moves out later this
year I am thinking of keeping my "studio" and moving to x-sewing room ...
into the smaller room ...

As you can see I have a lot of light in the evening across the desk that will be my sewing machine desk.
Looks like a great room already! You have book cases, beautiful desk that could be used for sewing, the smaller one for pressing. A chest of drawers for storage. Wow! I use a see-thru hangind jewelry bag (like a shoe bag but smaller) to keep all my presser feet in and visible plus other small odd and ends for sewing. I use a rack that sits on a desk to stand my 6.5",9.5", and 3- 12.5" square rulers on for easy finding. I hang the long rulers on the wall and have a design wall board on the back of the door. I also have a u-shaped table with my sewing machine in the middle and my cutting board on one side and a pressing pad and iron on the other side. I'm sure as neat as you office looks, you sewing room will shine! Will be waiting for the finished product....

What a great idea! My sewing room is the "formal living room" that has never been used as one since we bought this house.
It has this same molding around the top. I thought perhaps the former owner was attempting a crown molding look although they mounted a couple of inches shy of the ceiling.

Thanks for opening my eyes to use what I already have!

Note to self - look at posting dates when reading.
I didn't realize this thread was started so long ago! Regardless it's been great to see what other people have done in their sewing spaces!

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.. look the molding at the top of the wall near the ceiling.
