I'm new to applique and am thinking about buying The New Applique Sampler: Learn to Applique the Piece O'Cake Way as a little Christmas present for myself. Do any of you have this book? If so what do you think of it? Is there another book you would recommend? I'd be very interested in your recommendations and your reasons.

Many thanks to you all.

I haven't seen this book, but I liked "Applique: The Basics and Beyond".

Whew. Just had to dog through my box of books for this one. My new bookshelf has not arrived yet. I also have Applique: the basics and beyond.

I found it really helpful for hand applique.

I like Karen Kay Buckley's book
"Hand and machine applique the Karen Kay Buckley Way"
It's also available on a DVD
