It will be lovely either way. Just gives a totally different look depending on which you choose.

The ones suggested are beautiful

Another possibility, which would be more work, but also very nice would be to do a very narrow purple frame on each block then do the regular width yellow sashing.

Oh I see that was already suggested too.

Whichever you choose will be lovely!

I like the purple next to the blocks. The yellow looks blaah. It would be ok as a border outside the purple, but I like Quiltnnan's idea for layout.

PURPLE PURPLE PURPLE then a 1 to 1.5 inch yellow the some purple again. Awesome job.

Wow! that's fascinating! A good example of the difference binding colors can make. I kind of like it w. yellow....more pop, but purple would be nice and calm. Did you do this with EQ? I have EQ5 a friend gave me but have never learned to use it.
