Following that same vein....how about the quilting - hand, dm, LA hand guided, or LA computerized? Which would be perfect?

My late DH had a saying when I would point out an imperfection - "Hey, it's folk art."

My goal is not to make perfect quilts. That would be so useless to me. I don't want glaring mistakes though. Just the ones you have to look for.

LOL! If my quilts were perfect, I would have another name starting with J.

I don't sell my quilts but even if I did they would not be perfect. That would take the fun out of it for me. I don't do perfect!

Never, ever perfect. But I do get them done. Never ever sell them either.

Sell your quilts if you want to. Otherwise, don't sell them. Your family isn't, as kids say, "the boss of you".

Are my quilts perpect? No!

I've heard, "Perfection is the enemy of creativity." Works for me.

Never. I want to know Why they need to be perfect? I gave that up- it sucked all the fun out of the process and the finished quilt. I don't point out any imperfections either. I fix what bothers my eye and let the rest slide. I have had a lady at a quilt class try to tell me something was wrong. It was an Art Quilt! If it was Her quilt, she could have f̶i̶x̶e̶d̶ changed it. Since it was MY quilt, it was already how I wanted it. (can you tell me she made me mad!?)
