WOW lots of great replies! Some of us are alike and others are different. Maybe that's what makes us all get along well.

I was able to complete the non-quilting project tonight. Maybe I'll post pictures tomorrow under pictures.

Thanks for your replies...night!

My sewing area is frightful. It is overcrowded and disorganized. I really need a good week of sorting, folding and reorganizing.

I have totally outgrown my crafting area with far too much stash. I need to start quilting and selling off and donating the quilts and table runners and placemats lol.

Okay... I have to go and quilt to be able to use it and that doesn't get to happen too often :(

But yeah, sewing area is less than inviting. It is just overall frightening.

You've got to be kidding right??? With me and my DH both sewing in here... It is a mass of confusion. So, I do most of mine in the living room in front of the TV!

I have a small space in my living /dinning area. If I let it get to out of control then everybody thinks they can dump stuff on it. (Usually it ends up being all my junk) but I try to keep it picked up since this is where people have to be when they come see us. If I have my project I am working on it is inviting me to come and work.

My sewing area is neat and clean....I had to clean it up for my daughter's baby shower...guess what? The back room is now in chaos! LOL Had to put all sewing items in the back room that previously held baby stuff... now I have a baby/storage room.... Can't get rid of it and no time to sew right now... baby due tomorrow. AND, yesterday, I had to go buy some Binky!!! It never gets smaller, only grows and grows and grows. LOL

My sewing room is upstairs under the eves with a sky light, so it's rather small. I have no choice to keep the ironing board and some of the cutting surface cleaned while working. Now as for the boxes etc under the table, that's another story. Still trying to figure out how to store it all and remember what I have.......

oops, forgot to say my room is always inviting but chaos is always peaking out from under the tables.
