Those of you who hand quilt, do you find your stitches look the same on the top and bottom of your quilt?

No my stitches are not as even on the back as the front and I have hand quilted for a long time. I learned to live with my own quilting and there is no quilt police. LOL I like my work and that is what is important. So just enjoy Marge

My stitches are not always even on the back, but I can live with that as long as they are even on the front.

fairly even stitches on both sides - but I haven't mastered tiny stitches
-
I get the worst unevenness when I have to go through a big wad at an intersection -

Not even close. But if you pick the right backing, nobody notices.

Not even close! Mine are so bad. I always say that my hand quilting devalues my quilts! LOL! But as long as the back is stuck to the front, I am happy. I make my quilts to be used so I don't have to have them perfect.

I just saw somewhere online a quilt that was "stab-quilted" and it was UNBELIEVABLE. I will try to find the link.
