Was the envelope you used a business size? If it was, maybe it has to do with the dimensions of the envelope, too.

Legal size doesn't make a difference, but if an envelope is more than 1/4"full, it is considered a package, and costs more.

Default valentine sofa cover

I finished ( a little late) my valentine sofa cover. I made the heart pillow in the picture last year......lots of buttons. I had to dye the buttons pink.

I still need to quilt it.........that will be soon. I have to make a baby quilt and of course it is PINK.......sorta sick of pink right now!

dying buttons is pretty easy just time consuming. you need to buy dye-rite following the instructions.
I found that if the water is hot it seems to go a little quicker. I found this info of course on PINTEREST! Craft buttons in the packages from Michaels or Joann seem to work better than just white buttons you would find on a shirt. But you can dye any button. I did dye some grey ones also gave a really pretty mauve pink.
