Sigh... I was really hoping I would get to join, since I had PM'ed Jillaine on the 5th before she said it was cut off as of that point. I am enjoying seeing all of the fabric everyone is picking.

Happy to learn that oldcatlady loves the shabby chic fabric I have: it's Olivia by Benartex.

Didi, I meant your quilt will be in a square shape when I am done. Silly girl. Not sure which design yet.

This is the books I'm working from, the stories are great in it as well.
I found this one on ebay and a great deal, this book sells for 28.00.

A hobo quilt would be fun to do too! I collected hobo symbols many years ago for another project. What's the name of the book?

love the farm animals the pigs are super cute. um elephants and farm animals? is this a.. animal quilt lol? and shabby is always so ..cozy makes you think of a cup of tea instantly. I have my fabrics.. want to see your fabrics twinrivers or want to see just like the one I based it all off of? probably be a teapot quilt. as that is what you wanted. wait its going to be buildings.. yup thats what you wanted.. no? ok .. not telling you then. no big peaks. sure hope I am right on with this. shaking in my boots! (wait I dont own boots).

OK smarty with the Florida picture outside in that pretty red chair. love red chairs! we have a balmy 12 this morning. and a high of 24 expected. almost get out those flip flops.. nice to think of warmer weather though but think today is an inside day for me. quilting all day long with a nice cup of joe.

I am loving the fabric choices everyone is making, only problem is, it makes me want to shop. lol I can't wait to see all of the fabrics become quilts, so exciting.

My partner, buddy'smom, is doing an incredible job and I am overwhelmed. I love civil war and can't wait to see it all together.

I loved the Florida photo also, except I wouldn't get any sewing done because I would want to daydream (catnap) too much. It is a sunny and warm 16 here in Texas this morning and will shoot all the way up to 30.

    Have a great day everyone!

I am down to three patterns for my scrap quilt to Linnie. I have sorted out a bunch of fabric into bins that won't fit in cupboard so have to do some rearranging of where I put stuff so I can keep them seperated out. I have the dining room clean, the closet cleaned, the living room cleaned, my sewing area is a little cluttered because I found stuff to finish up and the scraps are sitting there, resorted what is left for ufos, maybe she wants an applecore scrap quilt, not it is her colors. Trying to finish up the garage today where all the fabric is. Almost done sorting those magazines that I am going to pass on to others so they can enjoy. Whew, I am tired and still have three quilts to get quilted today so I can play with the patterns that I have an idea to do.

Love your fabric choices! They are so pretty and unique. Your quilt is going to look great! I could envision an off-white or beige colored background fabric with all of them. Can' wait to see it completed!

Don't worry Brat, I am not out of the shoot yet at all. You all left me behind. Doing some organizing before I take off on my little spree. I am 90% sure of the pattern and know what colors to use and have plenty in my stash/scraps. When cleaning up the garage on Saturday and Sunday am, realized I do not really have much of a "stash" of fabrics. I have more scraps now after last year than anything. Once I get those cleaned up I get to buy yardage again. I do have a nice selection of batiks that I just love and only a bit of yardage there. I am down to one cupboard and a few in the house of UFOs. No I did not count that would be bad. We only sorted thru the cupboard of scraps, that extra large pile, and did not get to the other tote yet. Getting excited to move ahead on this quilt.

Brat, Those fabrics are so delicious. I am drooling over here because I am on a fabric diet.

Linnie, you keep going girl. We may get to swap before our actual deadline if that is ok. I plan on hitting yours hard in February after the two cancer quilts get done, the two football quilts done, and the three customer quilts that need quilted are done. Then I have a couple side swaps to finish up and then I finally get to play.
