Hello everyone
Hope all is well. I had a lovely weekend at a scrapbook crop. Have any of you go quilting for a whole weekend??? I have been scrapbooking for about 19 years and still love to do it. I have over 25 books completed plus I have made some for others as gifts. I will have a well documented family ...lol.

So bad luck in the past few days.....first my dog Sophie was attacked yesterday by two large dogs one of them is a pit bull. Sophie is okay no puncture wounds. Acting very timid, hiding under the bed and won't come out. She is also limping. But she is okay. I did call the police and filled out a report. see what happens next.

Also my husband was told on Friday that his department is considered surplus and will be losing his job. He has worked for the same company for 34 years. There is no pension just a 401K. He is still working right now until they close things down which we have no idea when that will be. He seems to think that another company will be buying out some of their contracts. That would be good. I keep you all updated.

Just checking in. I have been incredibly tied up this last month so..... I have mailed out both the September & October packages today. so sorry to be late and this is my first time being so.

I am assisting in the care of a very ill family member so I will be packaging up the rest of the birthday packages at my next break so I don't get so behind in the last few months.

I hope all are okay and everyone whose birthday has passed did something wonderful to celebrate. Congratulations on the new grandbaby. To the October ladies whose birthday is coming up, I hope you also get to do something wonderful to celebrate.

Barb I hope you husband lands well with his upcoming job change. Losing a job so near the end of the year can be twice as stressful. Poor Sophie I hope she gets better. That can be a traumatic experience.

AND..... My daughter left her stuff here soooooo mrs.Sherbert's went out today as well.

I received 3 packages today. Thank you NLS and KathyM. Great assortments. I wish I could decide what my next quilt will be. Thank you Jannie for the candy and fat quarter. I have been wanting to make some microwave bowl potholders and those big flowers will be perfect.
